Tree Collar Project

The Tree Collar Project was one of my first opportunities to work on a real sustainability challenge and present it to an audience. While developing the project, I learned that solving environmental problems requires much more than having a good idea. It takes research, teamwork, testing, and the ability to explain complex concepts in a simple and engaging way.

Working with my teammates taught me how important it is to listen to different perspectives and combine everyone's strengths. Throughout the process, I became more confident speaking in front of people, answering questions, and presenting our work clearly.

The experience also encouraged me to think more critically about how engineering, science, and creativity can work together to address real-world challenges. More importantly, it showed me that learning is not only about studying existing knowledge, but also about exploring new ideas and being willing to improve them through collaboration and feedback.

Looking back, this project strengthened my confidence, curiosity, and interest in using innovation to create practical solutions that can have a positive impact on the environment.
