My Internship at Restaurant Aida – Smilyan
From 8th to 13th August 2025, I did a one-week internship at Restaurant Aida in Smilyan. It was my first time seeing how a restaurant actually works from the inside, and it was way more interesting (and busier!) than I expected.
I learned how to set up tables so they look nice, how to greet customers with a smile, and how important it is to be friendly and polite. I also helped with some small prep tasks and saw how the kitchen team works together — it’s like a fast-moving puzzle where everyone has to do their part at the right time.
One of the biggest things I learned is that teamwork is everything. If one person is slow or not paying attention, the whole process gets harder. I also saw how staying calm, even when the restaurant is full, makes a big difference.
Overall, this week taught me a lot about responsibility, communication, and time management — but it was also fun! I’m really glad I had this experience and I feel more confident about working with people now.
